"Design must seduce, shape, and perhaps more importantly, evoke an emotional response." ~ April Greiman

The Perfect Setting’s Christine Andriola has always had an eye for design and a flair for the dramatic when it comes to creating one-of-a-kind floral design and bespoke events. Influenced at an early age by her mother’s celebration of every holiday in high-style, Christine remembers her mother teaching her five children to always take the time to enjoy life’s special moments, both large and small.  Whether it was a simple indulgence of red hot candies in Grandma’s Rose Crystal China for Valentine’s Day or Irish blessings notes tucked away before she left for work, Christine’s mother gave each occasion meaning with her touches of love, instilling in Christine the importance of celebrating the everyday.

In addition to Christine’s mother solidifying her love for the creative, Christine was also surrounded by the design expertise of her three aunts who ran a successful interior design firm on the East Coast. Through her aunts’ influential designs, Christine quickly found her innate love of color, furnishings and fabrics. The design vision and event preparation of her aunts was always a central theme at holiday time, and Christine found that every family gathering was a rich visual feast of fabrics, textures, lighting, food and family.  An occasion to combine creative ideas as everyone caught up with each other while setting out huge holiday tables that were works of art.

Hailing from Lakewood, Ohio, Christine received her BFA in Clothing, Textiles and Interior Design from The University of Akron.  Inspired by travel and a passion for the experience of living in new locales, Christine has lived in places like Boston and the Netherlands before finally settling with her family in the San Francisco Bay Area, and starting her event company, The Perfect Setting.  Christine’s eye for color, composition and detail, combined with her friendly, down-to-earth approach to planning the perfect soiree, makes her a sought after event planner in the Bay Area.  Christine believes that life’s milestone, both large and small should not only be enjoyed, but shared and celebrated. Christine focuses on creating uniquely personal and original events specifically tailored to each client that is a reflection of their style and personality.
